Does anyone have better sounding versions of the alternate This is England the Fingerpoppin' AOR thing? The copies floating around the internet (probably sourced from here years and years ago) are kind of thin and blah.

Just realized that the Lost Treasures boot has This is England (Dub Mix) labelled incorrectly.

Here's the Alt. mix that was released on the Dutch single.

I didn't realise there were two alternative versions, or is the Dub Mix a Marky Dread special?

I can confirm that it is the 7'' single edit that omits the verse about "kick Bengali in the head". So there are 4 versions in total the album version which I assume to be the same length as the 12'', the 7'' edit, the Dutch 7'' alt. mix and the demo.

Does anyone have the New York Palladium 79 radio broadcast? Its the full source of the gig with all the radio identifications and Mick yelling "Bollocks you cunt" at the end.

I got this but the sound is awful due to a source very very very far from the master tape
Because i'm in france i tried to find a better source fews years back (via Marc Zermati) but i'd never be able to find one...
May be one day a better source will appear

I understand during Joe Ely's time in England with the Clash in1978 the gigs at the Hope and Anchor club were recorded along with gigs at other venues. Is this true and if so are they available ? Thanks

My copy of Joe's 2002-10-01 Liquid Rooms Tokyo show, which is one of my absolute favs has all these digital squelches and skips and assorted noises running the experience. Is this the case with the master? Does anybody have a copy without any of the digital noises that they can share?
