Joe On The Radio
So I came home to walk the dogs at lunch today, and as we got back inside I heard something familiar on the radio (the dogs like the local college radio station). It was a familiar voice saying something like "I was asked what my favorite Elvis track is and it is Crawfish". Then I heard the Elvis tune, and Joe came back on saying something about the track and then goodbye from the BBC. It took me a moment to realize that they were playing one of the BBC shows. Kinda cool. During the summer, they have problems getting folks to spin tracks, so I guess someone just popped in a disc of Joe's BBC shows to kill some air time. I thunk it groovy.
