Cut the crap

Post by rudiethedirtypunk »

Can anybody upload cut the crap? I only have it on tape, i put it on the computer from tape but i dont have anything good enough to make it good quality. Each song by itself would be good, but whatever is fine,

Buy it and show the record company there's some interest in this time period of The Clash's career. Then they'll start The Clash II Bootleg Series and we will all live happily ever after.

What if she can't afford it?
I'm not saying she can't, but if she can't?

And another thing, not necessarily with The Clash, but with bands like The Times I find it hard and sometimes impossible to get stuff on CD, it's too much hassle.

Cut The Crap isn't worth £12.00 anyway, besides with the amount of bands that release stuff free nowadays just goes to show how much money they're getting from their record sales.

Rant o'er :shifty:

You're right. It's worth £ETERNAL SOUL.
I feel that there is a fascistic element, for example, in the Rolling Stones . . .

I've studied the phenomenon of neo-provincialism in self-isolating online communities but this place takes the fucking cake.

If search around enough on the internet, you'll be able to find it for download. I don't think we should promote ripping off the clash catalog here, even if it's a disputed part of the catalog. If you can't afford it (and how the fuck is it 12 pounds? Isn't that like 24 dollars or something? I bought mine (the version w/ Do it Now) for like 8 bucks new at Newbury Comics) do a little detective work for a downloadable version.

There are probably also legit places to pay for the download at the likes of iTunes, Amazon, etc.

Cut The Crap is usually about £3.99 in high street record shops. Affordable for anyone.

Buy one used off of Amazon. I can't cost more than 5 pounds or whatever the hell currency you use.

Part of why we can keep posting boots and stuff is that we don't post stuff available for sale.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

I meant around £12 and I was referring to the average price of first-hand CDs in record shops in England. HMV & the like.

Why not?
This whole section is about file-sharing anyway.

That's why not. You weren't here when they shut down the "original" IMCT.
EDIT: I should really learn to not hit "quote" when I mean "edit."
