some BAD...
Re: some BAD...
Listening through all these gigs, I think I might have noticed a mistake with a gig. The 05.02.1987 show at the Irving Plaza might be a mislabel. Listening through the show, some of the arrangements, specifically Hollywood Boulevard, BAD, and the "Battle of New Orleans" reference in A Party leads me to believe that this gig is actually the 02.05.87 show in Chicago.
edit: Its definitely New York. You can hear a few audience members get into a fight during the encore cheering and I hear very heavy New York accents. Although with this being from the New York show, why would the arrangements change so drastically over the course of a few gigs? These arrangements sound like the belong in the second Irving Plaza show later on in 87. It his however possible that this recording is from a second Irving Plaza after the one on the April 23rd show, most likely the next night.

Does anyone have an error free 2011-04-19 - Roseland Ballroom, New York City, New York in FLAC? When I decode mine I'm getting errors.
Also looking for any of the 1984 shows in FLAC if anyone has them.

Could somebody up some quality BAD II shows? I'm coming up empty trying to find their version of Beatbox online.

This person uploaded the Vegas show from 95 on soundcloud. https://soundcloud.com/dps-picksInder wrote:Could somebody up some quality BAD II shows? I'm coming up empty trying to find their version of Beatbox online.
As for some other BAD II shows, there were a few in the files that were uploaded a while ago. They were wetransfer so they only lasted 7 days but I could try to upload a few if you want. Theres Alley Pally, Sound Factory NYC, The Warehouse Leeds, the Riviera Chicago, Mexico 92, the Mick only show, and Ritz 92.

Alright, so heres a couple of em. So, I uploaded the NYC show, Chicago, and the Mick only. Leeds and Mexico both have kind of meh sound quality but the three here are very good.Inder wrote:Thanks! Well, that is basically true. They did record the Empire and nothing happened with it. Short of that, the best sounding SBD/broadcast is Lollapalooza.

Re: some BAD...
Teddy did the band actually get anywhere near a recording studio? Wasn't there rumors at the time that "Rob Peter to Pay Paul" was to be recorded or did I dream that?TeddyB Not Logged In wrote:Well, that is basically true. Lollapalooza is excellent, still gets regular spins from me.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board
