The Council Collective: Soul Deep/A Miner's Point

Post by Chairman Ralph »

Image

Does anybody have a copy of this to upload? Everybody seems to always post the A-side, but never the flip --- the 17-minute interview with the two striking miners -- of which I've read a great deal, but have never actually heard (and seemed a critical part of the package at the time). Anyway, I'd love to have both, if anybody here can help out.

I've only got the 7" version. It looks like the 12" version is available on Discogs, with the P&P being a lot more than the record itself!

Yeah, I saw that and noted that, too, during my various searches -- that's the kind of deal that I'm hoping to avoid!

Surely, it's not that rare, even if it's a period piece -- surely...surely. For the moment, I shall have to keep my powder dry. And my fingers crossed.

Hey, Marky, an emphatic -- YES! Would love to have a rip of this one, if you can, that'd be great! Getting ahold of the interviews is the big deal for me, so, by all means, yeah. Thanks!

Here you go Ralph. Both sides of the 12" vinyl all cleaned up and a Bert Bevan's Remix of Soul Deep from the cd box set.

Mission accomplished! Glad to have this piece of history, which you all know was such a big part of the story we told in We Are The Clash. Thanks again, Marky!
