London Lyceum October 22 1981

Hi everyone
I've lurked on this forum for a while and have got a lot out of it (particularly the megalist) and thought I'd share this with you:
I did a bit of an EQ job on the Oct 22 '81 Lyceum tape. I love this era of The Clash, and there aren't many good sounding shows from the second half of 1981, when they were (arguably) at their musical peak.

This is a top show if you like this period, but I found the tape a bit harsh to listen to, so I brought up the low end and tried to even out some of the harsher frequencies in the mids... I'm no pro but I think i got a decent balance between depth and clarity, I certainly prefer it. It sounds less like it's playing through a phone - the drums and guitars have more impact this way. I used a little compression on the low end but i didn't mess with the dynamics of the show overall. One More Time still sounds murkier than the rest of the gig- I guess they were getting the levels right.
The files are WAVs because I don't have anything that saves as FLAC, but they convert easily enough.
Hope some of you enjoy this - thanks very much for all the work you all do.
I'll leave the links up for a week.
