Re: Return of the Mighty Observations Thread
I just had the most delightful experience at the post office today. The clerk was awesome, charming, funny, helpful and not at all ground down by the system. I wish I had more packages to send. It was his knucklehead bodyguard I think...regardless of him being a cowardly junkie he knows what really happened and should give Mrs Blanco some answers. I'm not sure he does know. Didn't he say something along the lines of a girl who was there saying he had nothing to do with killing Blanco and ...

Re: Late stage capitalism
I remember being told as a kid that we were going to the cinema and I could choose what we saw. My choices were "The Empire Strikes Back" (I'd not seen Star Wars and never shown any interest in Star Wars) or Little Lord Fauntleroy. For some reason, I chose Little Lord Fauntleroy - I still have no id...

He's a junky cheat and dead, there's many more deserving of fond reminiscences than him. I don't know. I find it almost impossible to dislike him even though by every single metric I should. He is one of only two players I would ever have wanted to meet (who don't have links to my team.) The other ...

I don't really go for 'reaction' videos but I love this one (and have been on a Nathan Brown rabbit hole ever since I saw it)

I'm definitely in the Kool-Aid over The Globe camp too. Not a huge deal in it for me but for whatever reason I always go to KA first.Silent Majority wrote: ↑31 Oct 2023, 7:47amMy God, but Kool Aid is so much better than the Globe, it's untrue. So inventive and playful.

I haven't seen it in years but I remember really disliking the 3rd series because they turned Dave into an out-and-out idiot rather than the lazy jack-the-lad he was before.

Re: What Are you Listening to Right Now?
Apologies in advance because this might be a bit rambling... Back when Bunch of Fives started one of my choices was Jonathan Fire*Eater with Give Me Daughters. If you remember the song, you might recall Stewart Lupton's slurred singing is not the easiest thing to decipher... and Give Me Daughters is...
