Re: The Dictator observations thread.
I'm feeling particularly smug because the first time i heard about these NFTs was in relation to horrible people so i instantly decided they were a load of crap without wasting mental energy actually figuring out what the fuck they were. It was always such a transparent grift that I can't help but ...

I don't think I've ever heard Mick reference liking pre-Beatles British rock.

Re: What Are you Eating Right Now?
Made popcorn and while looking thru the drawer o' spices for something interesting, I found a sea salt-ghost pepper mixture. I was very conservative with the use, but, yee haw, it's a winner. Even at that, tho, there's a solid residual burn in my mouth. I also recommend Zatarain's Creole seasoning.

Re: Thread of Dreams
Had a pretty freaky dream last night, likely due to my reading so much FF lately. It turns out Galactus isn't a single force of nature but rather an entire race of planet-destroying beings, all of which are 3 times the size of the character in his first appearance. So big that he gets that hazy loo...

Re: Currently watching.
David Cross was really fucking good in the 90s. He and other Mr. Show people did some Newsradio, too, at the same time. That he's become, at best, meh now is very disappointing. I actually really like this show, it's got some great lines. I could never accept the idea of a sitcom starring David Spa...

For those musicians here, Andy does a short cover of OBF in demoing the new Wampler Cory Wong compressor pedal:

Re: Currently watching.
I think the only time I ever watched Just Shoot Me was when David Cross appeared as a guy faking a brain injury to make everyone wait on him. This season—or, rather, the line "My pants are tight!"—just popped in my head. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzJw0_UzM-s Mine would be tight too under thos...

Re: movies
I really liked her in The Plot Against America , too. Very expressive eyes. I thought that was a quite good adaptation of the book, although I wasn't picturing Winona in her role while I was reading it. Kazan also good in a pretty decent romcom with Radcliffe, What If . I'm deep into crush territor...
