I had no kids when I joined here and now I have 2 adults!!!
I wonder what it will be like in, say, 300 years time for people to look back on what their ancestors were jabbering out about if forums like this are still archived.

Re: The Ultimate Women's Album - Side 1 Track 3 Nominations

A song that always puts me in a good mood. Surprisingly not a hit in the US despite reaching top tens all over the world and being catchy as hell. This will probably work against it...

Ok, I'm conceding defeat but ABBA live to fight another day.
Unless something blows it out if the water, quality wise, I’m on record as being willing to vote Take a Chance On Me.
OOPS! It turns out that’s a track 2 as well. Never mind!

Definitely not 20 years ago. More like 16 or 17. I've been here 17 years in December and I can't remember Steak dude at all. SalsiburySteakJr. You're lucky if you blocked him out. He was like Pitchfork made flesh. I've read of his legendary shitness but pretty sure he was gone when I joined. He wou...

Fight the Good Fight - the Interrupters, with many thanks to revbob.
I'm going to have to check this out.
Given this a few spins now. I'm quite into it though the production is a bit glossy for me. Listened to some live versions and prefer them. It's a keeper though.

It's on par with Doc's revelation that the dark letters on the CtC album cover spell "utter."
The white letters spell "UTTER". I think.

Re: The Ultimate Women's Album - Side 1 Track 2 Vote - Round 3

This is already the third biggest forum on the internet for ABBA talk. Yet somehow we've fallen to eighth for Clash talk. If Inder hadn't cancelled elections during the board renaming coup, I think he'd face stiff odds of being re-elected. How you can blame Inder is beyond me. Try looking closer to...
