Re: Clash Live Series (Only an idea)

Per the Lewisham soundboard discussion, looks like we can confirm night 1 of Shea as well in the Sony vaults. I revised the initial post to include that. Not nearly as compelling, but interesting to note how much they have in the vaults confirmed.

Re: Lewisham soundboard

I just PM'd the guy as a last ditch effort (without being too push) to see if he'd be willing to share in some form.

Also worth noting that they have night one of Shea on soundboard too. Far less compelling, but add it to the list of shows in the Sony archive.

Also, I see i've already commented on the smokeshow Jill St. John from that clip: https://clashcity.com/boards/viewtopic.php?p=466398#p466398 Dove into her wikpedia and she had an amazing dating history: (just a few from what was listed) Michael Caine, Sean Connery, Ahmet Ertegun, Robert Evans, Davi...

Re: movies

Seriously, what the hell appeal did this have to a six year old in 1990?

Re: movies

Is it hipster contrarianism to prefer Batman 89 to Dark Knight? I find the mood and storytelling to be so much better and Keaton to have loads of charisma on top of Bale. And please no one from the nerd den chime in about "Batman doesn't kill people..." I think it's just part of the pendulum swingi...

Re: How confident are you? (Simonon content)

Yea--I really wanted to give credit to Paul playing that bass part. It's so groovy. And then part of me did wonder--is there a chance that Mick (or someone) overdubbed this at a later date? I meant to post it on the Clash discussion area, but you know...beer. Quite a few 1982 gigs on YouTube where ...

Re: A Bunch of Fives (New Challenge Thread)

Just for comparison's sake, what's a 10/10 song in Matey world? 10/10 means a perfect song. I can maybe think of ten perfect songs in existence. For the purposes of these ratings 1 = fucking bad 2 = really bad 3 = pretty bad 4 = Kinda not so good 5 = neutral 6 = mildly good, starts to become enjoya...

Which group is it? I don't see it on Parole. Is he looking for money for it? And he is certain it's the soundboard?
"We Love the Clash"
