Re: What Are you Eating Right Now?

category_956_8833.jpg This is where it's at when it comes to hot dogs: the classic Chicago Dog. Tomatoes huh? Yup. Chicago Dog includes sliced tomatoes, diced onion, mustard, sweet relish, sport peppers, pickle spear, and celery salt. Bun must have poppy seeds on it and dog itself should be a steam...

Re: Furloughed...

I just had my furlough extended for the 3rd time. It will now last until August 10th. I have not worked since April 9th. I get to keep my health insurance and the extra pandemic relief money provided by the Feds makes up for my lost wages, but that expires on July 25th. I'll only be getting state u...

He was a racist dick. Let's see if even the devil wants that soul.

Not sure if this one has been mentioned or not, but I've always liked it. They went 3rd string with Woody taking the lead.

I'm listening to Marky's Rat Patrol from Hell right now. I'm sure it has been said before, but what an incredible musical shift to get there from White Riot.

Re: My semi-annual plea for Rat Patrol, part 27

Rat Patrol is my all time dream release. I seriously would not ask the music gods for anything else if we saw a proper release. Maybe a 40th anniversary release of Combat Rock in 2022? They could take Mick's Sound System remaster of that album and then tack on singles, demos, and alternate mixes. I...

Re: Thread O'Booze REVISED!

I'm drinking this tonight. Made by a local brewery. White can is a pilsner and black can is a hazy IPA. They're both quite good.

Your song is 5 minutes, that's just my intro - the PROG ROCK thread

I rewired my living room speakers last week and to test them out I grabbed a random record and came up with Close to the Edge by Yes. I put it on and my girlfriend commented that I picked the most white sounding music she's ever heard. I did not like prog growing up. The young punk in me detested it...

Re: Another One Rides The Bus(for Free)

I was driving in Northern Wisconsin on Friday evening - which for the most part is a musical and cultural dead zone. The radio is either country or classic rock. We had the classic rock station on and in between the usual stuff they played Train in Vain. It was an unexpected, but nice surprise.
