A 'Best Of' from Marky's magnificent Bond remasters series might be the best we will get.

Re: Euroshima cover (TRAC song)
Cool. Wasn't Grant Shapps available? :) in fact they are related for real Grant's Wikipedia page adds, "Shapps's brother, Andre Shapps, is a musician who was a member of Big Audio Dynamite (BAD) between 1994 and 1998, playing keyboards. Their cousin Mick Jones was a key figure in British punk rock ...

JC Carroll book
Has anyone read this yet? I'm in two minds, as I wonder how much worth there is in it. Is his 'dishing the dirt' maybe sour grapes or really some insight? Any advice welcome.

Re: The David Bowie is God Thread
I think Tin Machine is killer! Especially coming after his 80's trio of blahness it was a breath of fresh air. The Sales Brothers were a kick ass rhythm section and at the time not many people were playing like Rieves so it was unique. I really like about half of Tin Machine 2 but Stateside is just...

Re: Top 5 Music Videos
The Don needs to release these in HD. U2 are currently going through their own back catalogue and releasing one at a time in HD. Thats assuming Don filmed them on decent stock. LC got the HD treatment a few months ago so probably. Was good to see it clearly for the first time. Most Clash video's lo...

Is this a mistake? All I know of is a 3 minutes version, but 'Long Term Jerk' has a full version around 5'11''.

Re: Author to the slaughter
Wait a minute. It seems the ref's not having any of it. He pulls an AK47 from out of his shorts and he makes that space... Now you are just losing me. As if the ref would make space... Turns out the ref is a master of all 7 dimensions. Time, space and the offside rule are as one to him. Doesn't mat...

The image works on so many levels it is genius. A bit like 'What would Joe Strummer do?" several years ago, it appears slight yet has depth.

Re: Author to the slaughter
Wait a minute... The ref's checking the pitch-side monitor... And in an unprecedented move, VAR has demanded that the last two England goals be disallowed! 54 years later, we're now going into extra, extra time... Sadly the pitch-side monitor is not accessible to the ref. Too many families without ...

Re: Carbon silicon Studio stuff with drums
Wow, just saw this — would love to hear how these tunes sounded with drums etc (but also wouldn't want NMH to get into trouble with the Clash Police!). Maybe you can sort of hum them to us? Clash Police? Surely you mean CSI Carbon Silicon Investigation. I'd love a whole series of CSI: Bun...
