Re: A Star Shines Brightly Tonight - December 22

I have the follow up, which was 1999 I think, you will find Joe there in much better spirits. Yep, Joe liked Nikola, but at the time was struggling with the past, present & future. Nikola pressing him to come back, somehow unsettled him, because it was basically warrior motivation talk. I'm happy he...

Re: Sound System Announcement

Can anyone help? Someone said at least 8 songs from Rat Patrol from Fort Bragg have been released already. Thanks if anyone can point them out from that tracklist. I assume the 8 songs are in the Sound System remasters? The Clash Rat Patrol from Fort Bragg 01 - The Beautiful People Are Ugly Too 3:45...

Re: Sound System Announcement

I'm back motherclashers! Found my login and pass! Time to rejoice to these remasters, and praise Hellboy who is probably listening to them, smiling from ear to ear, somewhere in the great beyond.

Metal Urbain Les Hommes Mort sont Dangereux reissue LP

Hi guys, Been a while. Trying to get the Seventeen label back in the game. We've found a new sales model which might (or might not) help us get back some of the old catalogue in print. To try it, we've gone back to square one. Metal Urbain. First band on Rough Trade. The true, 76-78 punk pioneers. A...

Re: In memory of Hellboy

You bet. Miss him every day or so.

I you already had the mixtape, get the new version, I put a sleeve for it, all the tracks are listed (original was just numbers), and there's my fave pic of Nikola in the folder when you unzip it.

3 Years already. I'm reposting his mixtape, now completely tagged with the artists and songs + a sleeve. "while cleaning my house this week end i found this mixtape nikola acin did for us a few months before his departure... if you knew nikola, here is a good way to remember him, if you didn't, here...

Tony once told me he as an audio tape so something does exist -- will it be shared, is something else entirely.

Re: Snake Eyes : Hellboy's final album out on CD !

Just got the CD yesterday and I'm going to give it a spin today. Note that the amazon / itunes version features a different mix for one song,"the day the rain came down", and another "Bed of roses" as been deleted on the CD and replaced by another one "Inseperable". The download was actually issued ...

Re: Snake Eyes : Hellboy's final album out on CD !

New clip from the LP out on youtube, this one is great because it's an actual clip featuring Nikola in every shot !

For those who don't speak french, at the end, Nikola says "thank you, I knew you were all sensitive to (techno) music".

Re: Snake Eyes : Hellboy's final album out on CD !

Re: Oasis set to split?

I just think Oasis are a band without passion, all superficiality and they certainly didn't mean it, man. Oasis were the last of the great XX century english bands. They had a passion for punk and the beatles. They really meant it maan, they were true punk geezers like most of us. It's great they s...
